Hi there! I'm Rosie and I started Rosy and Ready Handmade Beauty in New Haven, Connecticut.

Growing up, I was always drawn to simple, gentle products—things that felt good on my skin and came from nature rather than harsh chemicals. I paid attention to ingredients, textures, and how my skin responded, even before I fully understood why it mattered. Skincare wasn’t just about appearance for me; it was about feeling comfortable, confident, and cared for.

As I got older, that curiosity turned into research. I began learning more about plant-based ingredients, oils, butters, and the science behind how skin works. I noticed that many products on the market either overpromised or included ingredients that didn’t align with my values. I wanted skincare that was effective, honest, and thoughtfully made.

That’s when I decided to start formulating my own.

What began as experimenting and blending ingredients for myself slowly grew into something bigger. I tested, refined, and learned through trial and error, always focusing on quality, simplicity, and skin health. Every formula I create is inspired by my journey—rooted in a love for natural care and a desire to make products that truly nourish the skin.
